When Jesus answered John the Baptist’s question, “Are you the One who is to come…?” our Lord replied with the signs that proved He was the Messiah (Matthew 11:3). One of those signs was that the poor have the Gospel preached to them. He had already instructed His disciples, “…Freely you received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).
Following our Lord’s instructions we are offering our works free to those most impoverished – those in physical prison; and to those called to reach those in the darkest spiritual prisons – missionaries, chaplains, and those called to train the next generation of servant-leaders (Luke 4:18-19). Like Paul, we have received His riches in abundance, it is our pleasure to share them with others (Philippians 4:18a).
A Free Gift for Missionaries, Christian Educators, and Chaplains
Jesus said, “Pray to the Lord of the harvest that He would send forth laborers.” It would be our pleasure to provide you with a gift, a tool, to aid you in our Lord’s sacred calling that you have followed.
Scripture says: "Redeeming the time for the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:16) You have the priviledge to speak to God, study His Word, and prepare now to make the days ahead positive, productive, and pleasant. Allow us to give you a gift to help you prepare for those days.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.
(Luke 4:18-19) NASB
This task is far beyond my abilities and resources. I am not requesting financial support. What I do need is the help of kindred souls who are willing to voluntarily serve the Master by aiding in the process of getting this book into the hands of inmates. Frankly, God has provided salvation at His own expense. He instructed His apostles to take no money purse with them. There is no greater honor than to freely serve as a partner with the One who said, “Freely have you received, freely give.” While I sell copies to those who are in the position to pay, and will accept prepayments for inmates from others, we must make this word available to the incarcerated.
I have been overpaid by the Lord by simply feeling His presence as we did the work of translating and merging the gospels. His word is priceless. Truly, we who are His children can never return to the Lord an equal measure all He has given to us. Thus, I embrace this following verse and welcome those called to join in the task.
But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied…
(Philippians 4:18a) NASB
Because these two verses match the call God has placed upon me and those who join me I have selected for a name of the project: 418 Free! If you have the ability to inform inmates of this free resource and obtain the proper approvals so that it can be downloaded, then take action! All they have to do is proceed to fill out the minimal questions and then download the pdf. I would like to know your name and what you achieve for our Lord. I want to know what prisons have received copies of Journey of Jesus the Messiah. I would also like to know what institutions refuse to all inmates to download a copy. We will not know fully until heaven what will come of our efforts, but I look forward to celebrating with you what the Lord achieves through our efforts either her or in our Father’s house.
