In this enthusiasm it is too easy to miss the fact that the most important fish you will ever catch are your own children, and the call to train new fishermen begins again with our own children. This book helps to provide proper focus and gives insight into how to manage your own home and life while ministering to others.

Having the benefit of being the child of many generations of religious and community leaders provided me some lessons worthy to pass along. The education of 30 years in ministry provided its own lessons, some of them learned through pain and hardship. In addition, this book has chapters by four Christian servant-leaders who have fascinating perspectives and great wisdom to share. One of the contributing authors is Mr. Steve Elliott, President of GRASSFIRE.COM. Grassfire.com shares an informed perspective on the great issues of today.

“Saving America One Family at a Time” is an attempt to pass along concise, reasoned, and illustrated examples some of the “do’s and don’ts” of leadership as a Christian in a non-Christian world. Churches in a number of states have used it as a tool for small group studies. Hundreds of individuals have spent the couple hours of time to read this book and hopefully saved themselves years of heartache.
